Meet Dr. Meredith Walton O.D

Dr. Walton is the compassionate and visionary founder of San Diego Vision Collective, encompassing Heights Optometry, North Park Optometry, and La Mesa Optometry. After earning her Doctor of Optometry in 2011 from the Southern College of Optometry, she honed her expertise providing eye care to military families at the US Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy.

While working in Naples, she concurrently served as an adjunct professor at the regional Italian optometry school and actively volunteered with multiple vision health outreach clinics across Europe. Dr. Walton's dedication to delivering exceptional personalized eye care led her to found Heights Optometry in 2015, North Park Optometry in 2017 and subsequently La Mesa Optometry in 2023.

Her patient-focused approach combines comprehensive exams, patient education, and a commitment to promoting a vision health-focused lifestyle. As a respected figure in the community, she remains active in local and national Optometric Societies and frequently volunteers her time to ensure communities have access to vital eye care. Outside of treating patients and operating her practices, Dr. Walton enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling, and exploring local culinary scenes with her husband and their three sons.
